LANGUAGES
DANISH, ENGLISH
I joined NeuLab as a postdoc in 2026 after receiving a PhD in Linguistics from NYU, where I worked with Liina Pylkkänen in the Neurolinguistics Lab (NeLLab). My interest in the neuroscience of language was first sparked when I signed up for a psycholinguistics elective course—despite not really knowing what psycholinguistics was—while studying abroad in Leeds, England. From there, I sought out every opportunity to explore similar questions during my BA and MA in English studies in Copenhagen, Denmark. My research combines neuroimaging methods with insights from linguistics and psychology to investigate how the (bilingual) brain flexibly integrates words into larger expressions. I am particularly interested in characterizing the representations underlying language processing at the interface between structure and meaning.
Outside of the lab, I enjoy reading, doing yoga, playing music, traveling, and taking advantage of all the experiences New York City has to offer.
